MESSAGE START: While traveling through the stars, I played this beautiful game that invoked so many emotions with very little. The music, the graphics, the narrative, all these things I will remember as long as my memory does not fail me. ...Thank you!. MESSAGE SENT FROM A FELLOW TRAVELLER ON THE LEFTFIELD
Found this via the Leftfield Collection at Pax Online/EGX Digital. A very beautiful work about memories and grieving. I really love the music. I absolutely love finding little games like this and I can't wait to check out more of your work!
This game was so beautiful; I would compare it to being in a music video or an immersive theatre experience. It reminded me so much of grieving my grandmother, that I shed a few tears. Thank you.
This has such a beautiful story... Maybe to show that these people are the main characters friends/family/lover or whatever we could have the main character as a different color next time? Idk if this was due to the jams rules or not but I think a blue color would of worked great (helps capture the emotion in the character).
the sprites were actually blue when i started making the game but i changed it because it didn’t stand out against the background. all the sprites are the same colour because that’s how Bitsy works! also this isn’t a jam game!
Oh cool. Also my bad i thought it was a jam game, I thought i read something for some reason. Would you mind if i used the memory decay idea for a game I am making. I'll be sure to credit you!
i was destroyed by this game. the way you used the repetition, the metaphor of regrowth, the everything??? this game is a gem. thank you so much for making this.
haha i dont know if i'd be able to pull off long form games in bitsy! but for a longer experience in bitsy, may i suggest the game Redlander https://sunspider.itch.io/redlander which is currently in development... it's very good and seeing sneak peeks to its development is an absolute delight!
This is one of the most awesome games I've ever played - from the music to the intricately crafted Bitsy visuals and the exquisitely poignant narrative of reminiscing a past that will never return. I love it! Such an amazing gameplay experience. Thank you for creating this masterpiece :')

gosh, it is perfect
The music and everything is so beautiful it makes my heart ache
;-; it's perfect
Would you be able to make a downloadable version?
i could! is there an issue with the in-browser one?
i just like being able to actually have a game on my computer, and not just tied to the internet.
that's fair! just made a downloadable version available :)
it's really just a html page and the music file, but it should work fine in any browsers offline. let me know if you encounter any issues!
ummmm, you made me cry so hard
beautiful game, thank you :(
